I know someone in class is focusing their final paper on the spoken word phenomenon and mentioned speaking with a performer named "Dee" (I think!) for their research. I just received an email and it looks like a woman by the name of Dee Galloway will be performing at the DU LGBTIQA Gala Celebration on Thursday the 19th. Might be a neat opportunity to check out activist art in action and see what a fellow classmate is writing about!
